The corporation was established on July 5, 2004，and registered at the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, whose predecessor is China Textile EME Research Institute.
　　The China Textile EME Research Institute was established in 1953, which is the first national-level textile mechanical research institute in China (original name Ministry Textile Industry Mechanic Research Institute), and has made great contribution to the founding and development of China’s textile mechanical industry. The institute mainly undertakes the research, development, and design tasks of various textile machines, electric automation and computer application. It also takes charges of textile machinery standardization management, the examination and evaluation of the quality of textile mechanical products at home and abroad. Through the years, it has undertaken about 200 research projects at national, provincial and ministerial levels, obtained above more than 50 scientific and technological rewards at the provincial levels, and about 20 national patents. It has not only a group of prestigious experts in textile machine trade, but also many experienced, talented young technician backbones with spirit of pioneer.
　　According to the overall disposition of the national scientific and technical structural reform, the China Textile EME Research Institute has been turned into a scientific and technological enterprise subordinated to national committee of the large state enterprise in 1999. On one hand maintaining keeping the trade characteristic, and vanguard on scientific and technology , on another hand the institute actively heads for the market, and builds itself according to the demands of the modern enterprise. During the fast development process, It concentrated strength on building the core competitiveness and orientated its main target on industrial automatization field which closely related to the national economy, especially new-type electric drive system. The Switched Reluctance Drive, which was developed by the institute, is on the international advanced and national leading position. The products provided by the institute have occupied over 90% of local market and are sold to Asia, European and America. They are already extensively applied in machine tool, coal, textile, petroleum fields, etc. The electromotive vehicle of the national 863 major projects, which was undertook by the institute, obtains great success. The Ministry of Science and Technology awarded the institute as the enterprise to promote the popularization plans of the national-level scientific and technological achievements.

It is authorized as high-tech enterprise by Beijing Technology committee. All experts and backbones specialized in techniques, business and management enter the corporation and hold the company’s main stock. The business and immaterial assets originally belonged to the institute are all merged into the company. By the reform of property system, the enthusiasm of all employees is stirred up greatly.
